We’ve gathered some frequently asked questions:

What day can I request my order for?
When placing your order, you can select the specific day you would like to receive it. You will have this option during the "delivery and payment" step, after providing your details.
Orders must be placed at least 4 days in advance of the requested date. However, some dates may already be fully booked, so we recommend ordering as early as possible.
We are available throughout the week, including weekends.

Where can I add comments?
You can add comments during the final step of the ordering process. Please always include the following:

  • Cake color theme (up to 3 colors): Provide your custom palette to ensure the cake matches your occasion perfectly. You can choose any shade or combination; the decision is yours! If no colors are provided and we do not receive guidance via email, we will determine the colors based on the theme.
  • Cake inscription (15-20 characters max): Share your personal message to be displayed on the cake. Please note that the dessert's size (and shape) limits the text length: Bento cakes have less space, while larger cakes can accommodate longer inscriptions. For brownies, size limitations also apply.

Please provide all details as accurately as possible, as we use this information to create your order. If you have additional notes, feel free to email us, and we’ll discuss them!

Can I send inspiration?
Yes! However, please note that all cakes are made in the PiciCake style in addition to any custom requests, so we ask for your trust in our creative process. If you send an inspiration photo, we will do our best to match it. However, if it is someone else’s work, we may not be able to replicate it exactly but will strive for similarity.

Where can I pick up my order?
You can pick up your order in person in the 15th District of Budapest, after scheduling a time in advance. Please arrive punctually, as we are only at the workshop during preparation and the agreed handover time.
Address: 1156 Budapest, Páskomliget utca 50. Doorbell 44. The location is accessible from both directions.
Opening hours: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

When you select the time during the order process, we will record it in our calendar. If everything is in order, we will not send additional confirmation—your automatic confirmation email is sufficient. We will only contact you if the selected pickup time is unavailable.

I want dessert delivery. Which courier should I choose?
For delivery, always choose the PiciCake courier to ensure the dessert remains intact during transit. At present, delivery is only available within Budapest.
GLS and Foxpost couriers are only for TiMEbox gift items; unfortunately, they cannot guarantee safe delivery of desserts. That’s why we handle dessert deliveries ourselves.

When will my order be delivered?
Deliveries are made daily between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Unfortunately, we cannot specify a narrower time window due to varying traffic conditions. The courier will call you when they are nearby. If there is a change in timing, we will notify you in advance, though such cases are rare.

How long do desserts stay fresh?

  • Cakes: Best consumed within 3 days. All orders are freshly prepared on the day of pickup/delivery. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days, but note that they may dry out over time, so same-day or next-day consumption is ideal. Since the cream is mascarpone-based, surface cracking may occur at different refrigeration temperatures.
  • Brownies: Best consumed within 4 days. All orders are freshly prepared on the day of pickup/delivery. Store in the fridge for up to 4 days. If they dry out, a quick 30-second microwave warm-up can work wonders!
  • Brookies: Best consumed within 3 days. All orders are freshly prepared on the day of pickup/delivery. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness. If they dry out, a quick 30-second microwave warm-up will bring them back to life! Perfect as a companion to tea or coffee.

What happens if I don’t pick up my order?

If, unfortunately, you are unable to pick up your order, we will hold it for you until the following day. If we cannot reach you by then, your order will be canceled. It’s completely fine if you decide not to proceed with your order, but please let us know in advance. This helps us avoid unnecessary use of ingredients, energy, and time for your custom request.
